Hacienda Real

Hacienda Real continues to be provide an overall good dining experience when you are looking for decent steak. The seating area is very expansive and airy, allowing for a very comfortable feeling. The service is not the fastest or most attentive - this is the only area that I would say they need to improve. It is not terrible, but certainly could be better. We like that they provide a warm broth to start - this helps get your taste buds going and in the mood for steak. I ordered the Shrimp & Steak (good sized shrimp and tasty, well prepared steak) with salad and patacones - all good. The wife had Grilled Corvina (healthy serving and cooked well) with salad and yuca - also all good. Our son had his usual Chicken fingers w/fries - which he ate completely (very good for a 3yr old) and for desert, we tried the Brownie a la Modes - can't go wrong with that. They offer a decent selection of wines, beers and cocktails, though only one type of wine by the glass (red & white). Overall, it is a good value in a comfortable setting that will have something for everyone to enjoy a good meal.

Another late date night at a restaurant we have visited in over 2 years....Hacienda Real won the voting. We pulled up at 9:20pm, got seated right away and immediately, we were presented with a starter from the kitchen...a steaming cup of light chicken broth, a good choice. After downing that, we made our selections....Mar y Tierra for me (12 oz. Filet Mignon + 6 Prawns in a garlic sauce srved with bread) Grilled Salmon for my wife. I enjoyed my dish...a larger plate than expected where the steak was presented as 4 tender medallions cooked to my specs (medium) along with the Prawns which were very tasty and worked well with the not too oily garlic sauce. My wife's Salmon plate was a well cooked healthy serving as well, accompanied with a fresh salad. A good job done for a steak house. We also had a side of yuca, which was also very good. To close we shared the brownie a la mode....a warm smooth, chocolate brownie topped with Vanilla ice cream...which we t iver very well!! A good meal with solid service all around from the staff. They have reduced the menu from the last time we ate there, but the continue to offer a very good product and we recommend others to check it out.

La primera sugerencia es que debes reservar, el lugar en las ocasiones en las que lo he visitado siempre tiene su publico. La comida orientada a carnes y gastronomia centroamericana, buena pero no excelente. Podeimos un carpaccio de salmon y un ceviche de pescado como entradas y definitavmente ambos pueden mejorar. Como segundo planto aun siendo una entrada, pedimos unos patacones de camaron, mejor que los dos primeros, pero de igual manera pudieran mejorar. El sitio en muy buen estado y bien atendido.

Tenia tiempo de no visitarlos y decidi hacer reserva para una celebración familiar. La atención aunque fue demorada y espaciada el que nos atendio lo hizo de manera cortes y esmerada. La decoración del lugar y el lugar en si deben ser renovados o atendidos. La comida estuvo bien, solamente. Considero que puede estar mejor, creo que es reflejo del ambiente. Lo que estuvo muy bueno los camarones.

Me gusto mucho la comida, las carnes estaban perfectas, muy buen sabor. la carne, el pollo y camarones muy ricos. el chico que nos atendió fue amable.
