Cocina de La India

Totalmente acogedor, el propietario nos recibio y nos brindo recomendaciones, la comida exquisita, el cordero delicioso! Falto tal vez algo de música de la india para completar la ambientación! Volveremos

La comida es realmente buena, el pollo a la mantequilla fue nuestro favorito. Tambien recomiendo el naan. Con las bebidas no nos fue muy bien, la sangria estuvo muy mala. Aparte de eso, ofrecen muy buenos platos.

Cocina india de verdad. Sabores autenticos, porciones razonables. Ambiente acogedor y musica regional. Para comer diferente en ocasiones especiales en grupos pequeños o grandes.

This is my first time visit to an old favourite restaurant in its new premises. The owner I think is the old chef from the Indian Embassy...and he really knows his stuff. I will start by saying that you go here for the food alone....so take good company, especially someone who is crazy for Indian cuisine. I took an old friend from the UK, and if you know anyone from the UK you will know that we are nuts about Indian curries, or "cuzzers" as we affectionately call them. My partner in crime was in fact an exceptionally well travelled and epicurian individual...and to my surprise he just let me order. So I did. Onion pakora and shrimp tandoori to start. Great pakoras....one of my favourite dishes...with tamarind and mint sauce...delicious! Then we had chicken tikka masala and shahi paneer, accompanied with some rice and onion naan bread. Now normally in many Indian restaurants you find these main dishes (especially chicken ticka masala) to have very heavy sauces...and often a lot of oil in them to carry the spices....but much to our surprise (especially my friend) they were light with exceptional flavour. I must say I am not, despite my love for cuzzers, a huge fan of very hot spices....its all about the different spices and flavours being detectable and differentiable. We were both honestly really surprised how good the dishes were and the onion naan bread was by far the best I have ever had. Unfortunately my friend went back the next day for a repeat, but he didn't have me with him, so he ordered all wrong!! :) Please let me know when you want to eat here and I will happily accompany you lol.

Me gusta la comida india y con frecuencia visito este lugar. Esta vez pedi el chicken biryani y el cordero con espinacas. Buenas opciones en la carta y una buena alternativa para un almuerzo diferente
