Charro Mexicano (San Francisco)

Charro Mexicano is hands down the BEST Mexican food you can find in Panama City, Panama. The food has all the spice, whether hot or just well seasoned, and depth of flavor that keeps you coming back for more. The first thing you have to order is their guacamole with fresh pico de gallo and homemade tortilla chips! There are times when my boyfriend and I will only come for the guacamole and margaritas. Speaking of margaritas, you’ve got to order the blended maracuyá margarita. Now be prepared, their margaritas are LARGE. However, you will find yourself coming face to face with the very bottom of your glass soon enough. Don't miss out on their sopa de tortilla and filete charro mexicano (the sauce is to die for!). Their location in San Francisco has moved from the little hole in the wall next to the barber shop to a fantastic location that allows for indoor and outdoor seating. There are plenty of parking spaces in the front and around the back, but it does get quite crowded because of their strong foodie following. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Food and drink service is fast, but slow when it comes to paying. If you are in a hurry to pay it is best to walk up to the register in the back in order to leave quickly. The owners make sure to come around and ask customers about their experience, and they never forget a face! They remember their regulars and ask how their families are doing. Don't miss out on this place, it is one of kind!

Buen ambiente para hacer celebraciones, cumpleaños o after office, probé los Nachos Charro Mexicano estaban ricos pero hay mejores, el servicio si deja mucho que desear siento que se tardaron con la comida.

De entrada el queso fundido con chorizo..estuvo bueno. Los nachos de pollo estaban ricos también. La porción es personal. El lugar es agradable para pasar el rato. Sin duda volveré.

Estuvimos el dia de ayer, no habia mucho movimiento y nos quedamos en uno de los saloncitos que ellos le llaman reservados, pedi nachos y de entrada queso fundido, la comida exquisita, salió a tiempo. Sinembargo la nota discordante fue en el servicio, nos llevaron la comida y la salonera literalmente se perdio. Para pedir agua nuevamente debimos buscar a alguien que nos la sirviera y luego aparecio la salonera nuevamente. Recomendacion, mejorar la atención, ya que no habia tanto movimiento.

Este es un restaurante que me gusta frecuentar por ser informal y agradable el ambiente. Esta vez pedimos nachos mixtos de entrada que nos gustan mas que los nachos especiales que vienen super cargados de cosas. Las flautas siempre muy buenas, las recomiendo, nunca decepcionan. Y esta vez pedi un burrito especial Charro que es inmenso y estaba bueno. Aco pañe con una margarita de tamarindonque en esta ocasión estuvo muy dulce.
