We love pairing a glass of wine with El Enemigo‘s Tuna Tartare. The sesame oil is poured over the beautiful dish at the table. Aromas from the oil and wine are heavenly, and more so when also viewing the amazing Panamá City skyline framed by cathedral steeples as the backdrop from their rooftop terrace.
We had a lovely meal! We asked Chef Henry for his recommendations and he suggested the dumplings and salmon. We took his suggestions and also decided to try the tuna tartar. All were delicious - and almost too pretty to eat. The folds in the dumplings were amazing.
Primitivo is closed. We loved this restaurant and made reservations to go here for my birthday. Enemiga is - somehow - related to primativo, so we walked over to have my birthday dinner. Enemiga has a wonderful rooftop but, because of the weather, we ate in the ground floor restaurant. Octopus was very good.
Love Enjai! Today I had the tuna tartare lunch special. Delicious and beautifully presented food. My husband enjoyed the acevchado roll with fried fish. We will return before our vacation ends.
My husband ordered the Caribbean ceviche and I ordered the Peruvian chicken soup. Both were delicious, but the ceviche was more photogenic. We will return - again!
The waitress was very helpful in helping us decide what to choose from their menu. The fried eggplant (a tad under fried) was used as a ‘vehicle’ to eat the delicious tzatziki. The lamb gyro was ok (a bit dry but the tzatziki sauce helped). We ended on a high note with baklava drizzled with honey. We will return.
I enjoyed Tuna Tartar and Seaweed Salad for lunch at Enkai. The tastes of these dishes were fresh, very flavorful and beautifully presented. I will definitely go back to explore more of their menu!
We were quickly seated and approached by our waiter. Our soup and salad came out quickly and were both tasty. However, we waited at least 30 minutes for the food to come out. I’m not sure if our waiter forgot about us or got too involved the soccer match. The restaurant wasn’t too busy…
CascoMar does not disappoint. The staff are personable and do a wonderful job anticipating any needs. We love to start a meal with the fried eggplant drizzled with honey. Unfortunately by the time we finished our main course we are too full for dessert. We need to plan better next visit!
This restaurant is at the edge of Casco Viejo, very near Santa Ana. It is a relatively new place and works to get your business. The service was wonderful and so was the food. We will come back!
