Después de leer los comentarios decidimos visitar el pequeño restaurante y fue una agradable sorpresa. La comida muy buena y las porciones generosas. Mariscos frescos, todo muy bien sazonado con auténtico sabor peruano. Los Pisco Sours muy buenos también. Ordenamos la Causa Limeña con camarón, Arroz Chaufa, Corvina a lo Macho y Filete Mar y Tierra y todos los platos estupendos. El lugar es pequeño y nada fancy, pero la comida es la estrella.

This place is just a gem hidden in the highway. The food is always fresh and delicious. When in the area, I never miss the opportunity to go there. The dishes have always been consistent, flavorful and plentiful.

La comida estuvo bastante buena. El primer día fuimos al viernes de paella. La de mariscos tenía buen sabor pero casi nada de mariscos. La de carnes si tenía una buena porción de pollo, chorizo y puerco. El segundo día comimos un pargo rojo frito, muy fresco pero un poco bajo de sal y un filete de res muy jugoso y bien cocido. El ceviche de pescado también estaba bueno y fresco. El ambiente es relajado y el servicio un poco lento ya que hay poco personal atendiendo las mesas. Con todo y eso lo recomendaría.

Very good traditional Panamanian food in a homey environment. Nothing fancy, just good food at affordable prices. Opened for breakfast and lunch only.
La Casa del Cuzco
I could recommend the Pisco Sour, but everything else was average to not so good. Very disappointed with the tiradito, which the fish itself was good, but it was described as been served with choclo and camote, a sweet potato type of legume, however they only sprinkled some canned corn which was unappealing to the eye and palate. The ceviche frito was good, but on the salty side. I ordered the Ají de Gallina and the flavor was far from an authentic aji. The sauce was thicker than normal with very little shredded chicken and two large pieces of regular potatoes, not the yellow potatoes used for the dish. My husband ordered the corvina rellena de camarones, which was nothing more than a fried breaded piece of fish drenched in a thick sauce with 4 small shrimps. The server was attentive and the place is nice, but the food lacks flavor and authenticity.
Il Pianista
This could be the best pizza and pasta I've tried outside of New York City. The pizza is cooked on a brick oven powered by good all wood (leña), and the pomodoro sauce was out of this world. Fresh tomatoes, basil, and olive oil for a subtle flavor. I couldn't recommend this more if you are in the area.
Big Lobster
Very pleasant surprise to find a fair priced restaurant with very good food in the area. The lobster was well priced, very well done and tasty. The pasta was overcooked. I would definitely will try them again and will highly recommend the restaurant. Also the service was pleasant and corteous.
El Camino del Inka
Stumbled upon this restaurant looking for fresh seafood and what an amazing culinary experience here in El Valle. The location and decor is no frills, but the seafood dishes and the preparation is superb. Had the patacones rellenos de mariscos as an appetizer and they were great. The seafood is fresh, the preparation with the Peruvian "Aji Amarillo" and a touch of spice was delicious. We followed with a corvina crocante and with garlic sauce accompanied by yucca, which were outstanding. I expected an okay meal, but was happy to have found this place. Highly recommended.
