Ciao Ragazzi (Clayton)
We LOVE this place. Pizzas and calzones are very delicious. The best thing is pizza crust: so thin and crispy, perfect! Our favorites are pizza Trussardi and calzone with mushrooms. But, by the way, the portion of Tiramisu is quite small.
Sunly (El Dorado)
Last time we had dim sum there was HORRIBLE: very limited selection of dishes, very thick dough and very less of filling. We used to come a lot for dim sum in Sunly, but no more.
Brazzeiro (Soho Mall)
The buffet was really delicious and of great variety: ceviches, salads, smoked salmon, frijoles negros, mashed potatoes etc. It is very convenient to go with kids. The meat was on spot too, tender, juicy, flavorful. We have been a company of 20ppl and everything went smooth, no waiting, just enjoying food😄👌🏼
MAHALO Cocina y Jardín
Unfortunately, we got really disappointed with this place. Definitely, the ambience is amazing, especially in the garden area. but there is a huge BUT. The portions are very small, especially Huevos Rancheros. The bagels with salmon and poached eggs were so dry: the eggs were overcooked, bagels were hard, impossible to cut. As for pancakes, they were too sweet and dense. And Portobello Florentino bagels were hard as well, and very salty. I don’t think we will visit again.
Cafe Bilal (Costa del Este)
One more good place for hookah:) and it’s 12$, al-fakher tobacco. The terrace is pretty comfortable, though could be more cozy. The service was regular. speaking of food, we have tried hummus, shish tauk (chicken) and grilled salmon. Hummus was pretty delicious, though for my taste I would prefer more tahini in it. And the weird thing is that it’s not coming with pita bread, just hummus itself. Chicken was delicious and not dry, baked potato and Greek salad were just perfect as sides. Grilled salmon was regular, nothing special. And I asked to make it undercooked, but at the end I was eating pretty well-done fully cooked salmon.
Vitali (Paitilla)
I really enjoyed food here, very delicious and healthy. Even my husband, who prefers taste to health, was happy with his salmon in orange sauce (with quinoa and salad on side). Portions are pretty much generous. Although, the salmon would be perfect if there was more of orange taste, it was more like regular grilled salmon. I had salmon wrap with roasted sweet potato. If sweet potatoes were crispy, this would be perfection. And would be nice if there was gluten-free option for wrap. There is a huge variety of beverages (interesting mix of juices and smoothies). Unfortunately, I was to full to try desserts :( The service was pretty sweet and the ambience is just regular.
Frida Food & Lounge Amazonia (Costa del Este)
The only thing I liked about this place is ambience. Decorations and design are so cool, spot on. But unfortunately we were not happy with our food. Corvina was too salty, yuca al mojo was super dry and pretty tasteless, sautéd veggies had too much of balsamic, burger was too dry, French fries were soft and almost white. The only thing that we enjoyed is shrimp ceviche. Overpriced and overrated place. Maybe, it’s just a good option for drinks and snacks in a posh ambience.
Crepes & Waffles (Multiplaza Mall)
We have ordered portobello crepes and crepes with shrimps. I really enjoyed my veggie loaded crepes, there were zucchini, portobello, avocado and peppers plus Green salad on side. But the shrimp crepe was too loaded with sauce, so crepe literally soaked in it and we couldn’t actually taste the crepe. As well, we have tried broccoli soup, it could be perfect if not that much salty. From sweet options we have tried waffles with ice cream. As for me, the were too soft and not crispy at wall, but my husband enjoyed it pretty much. The service is lower than regular tbh, too slow, not attentive and they haven’t mentioned that there was no strawberry ice cream (which supposed to come with waffle). So they substitute it with chocolate one.
Olive Garden (Multiplaza)
What I like here is that soup or salad is included if you order main dish. We really enjoyed the salad and minestrone soup. But when it came to main dish, we got disappointed. :( Pasta was too dry, chewy and thick. The sauce was pretty tasteless. As well we had salmon with Parmesan zucchini. Salmon wasn’t fresh and too salty, and Parmesan crisp on zucchini was burnt. I would like to highlight amazing service though, very warm and attentive.
Nacionsushi (Costa del Este)
American-asian fusion :D Prices are acceptable and joyous ambience. I love their salmon roll with avocado and seaweed on top (although I always ask them not to add cream cheese to any roll). This time I have tried their carrot soup, it’s was sooo salty, wouldn’t recommend it. Roll with eel and avocado wasn’t bad, but they topped it with some ‘house sauce’ which destroyed everything. It was too sweet and thick, like it wasn’t fresh. Honestly, I couldn’t taste anything than sweetness of the sauce. And I would recommend to add some simple greenery based salad, not too much stuffed with sauces.
