We went to Hacienda Real last night and the restaurant is attractive. We were seated upstairs quickly and the service appeared to be good. We ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer and our meals. We received our wine and appetizer and noticed all of a sudden that lots of very loud children running through the restaurant and up and down the stairs. We blew it off thinking it would be taken care of after a few minutes. But it got worse. By this time several of the children were shrilling at the top of their lungs running and playing in the restaurant. When our appetizer came, we asked the waiter about it and he said he would say something. We thought that would be the end of it especially since they were seated downstairs. After about 30 minutes of this non stop action of running up and down stairs screaming and chasing each other (there were about 10 children in all), we asked to speak to the manager. He arrived and we explained our problem. The manager said there was no way he could ask their parents to do anything about the noise or the running through the restaurant. Stunned, we asked for the check and he gladly brought it to us. We walked across the street to Casuale and had a lovely evening.
