Bad Experience at Chevre Panama Restaurant I rarely do any bad reviews, specially in Panama City (Panama) where I truly enjoy dining out. This restaurant Chevre Panama, listed as #4 best restaurant in Panama City was not what I expected. First of all their outdoor seating area is almost like a sauna! Additionally they have 5 super heavy fans going on making conversation impossible. I asked to sit inside, which has a nice décor and good ambiance. The 2nd shock was that this restaurant does not have a printed menu which was a huge disappointment. They had a QR code but you need a mobile phone to scan it. I do not have a mobile phone. One big pleasure of dining out is to look at the menu, read the ingredients and see what they have. I did not find out what the restaurant had to offer. The waiter mentioned steak, seafood, pizza. But this is not the same as choosing what kind of seafood or what kind of pizza. I need to read all the ingredients to ensure it is the right choice. I have never ever seen a restaurant in my life that does not have a printed menu! I ordered a pizza based on recommendation of the waiter. The pizza crust was very well made but the tomato sauce was super salty and sweet. Some restaurants add sugar to tomato sauce which I do not like. All in all it was a bad experience. I would not visit this restaurant again.
