We went on a hFriday nigt and it was crowded and loud. We were seated immediately and chose a table away from the band so that we could still hear the live music without it being too noisy. We enjoyed the Sangria and Pisco Sour (both free with a Foursquare check-in!). We ordered the Corvina a la Perricholi and Corvina rellena de langostinos. Both dishes were very tasty. The service was also very good and the prices are reasonable. Our server checked on us regularly and was very polite. Parking spaces are very limited. Bottom line: good food, good service, good prices. Recommended.
A good choice if you like burgers. We tried the "Winner", the "Beaner" and the Cheddar Cheese burgers. All very tasty. The fries are nothing special. The onion rings are a little bit better. Sit outside for a more casual vibe. Good service with an attentive staff.
We tried the "Filete a la Real", the filet mignon and the fried red snapper. Everything was delicious. The service was pretty good, too. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has plenty of room with both indoor and outdoor sections. Overall, an excellent choice. Good food, good service and a good value for the money.
An elegant restaurant with good service and decent food. We tried the Roma Antica salad, and the Portobello appetizer. Both were delicious but really overpriced. The mushroom risotto (Risotto Di Tartufo) was a bit bland and nothing special. The gnocchi with lamb sauce (Gnocchi Ragu D'Agnello) was very tasty. The panna cotta we had for dessert was OK but I've had better. If I ever go back I will stay away from the overpriced appetizers and the risotto. Bottom line: Not my first choice for Italian food in Panama City.

My friend had pizza and it was delicious as well. We shared a very nice tiramisu for dessert. Everything tasted fresh. The prices are great considering the level of food and service you get. I can't wait to go back!
I had the sea bass ceviche as a starter and the Lomito Saltado as a main dish. Both were good but way too expensive for what you get. My husband liked the Pulpo al Olivo starter. Our friends had Capricho del Chef and Camarones al Ajillo and both were bland.
The Pisco Sour drinks were also tasteless and expensive. The place looks nice but it was very loud at times. I do have to admit the service was very good, especially for Panama where good service can be hard to find. Unfortunately the average food and the high prices will make me stay away from this place in the future. Not recommended.

La Vespa (Area Bancaria)
