Lucca Trattoria (El Cangrejo)
All that f us enjoyed our food, but I was a little disappointed that there are not vegetarian meals offered. Parking is great, and I would go again
La Posta
Excellent. It is always a great dining experience. Great food, wonderful service. The fresh seafood and prime ribs is an extra plus to their already good menu.
Market
Market is always good food, good swrvice, and a very pleasant atmospheric sphere. We go there often for lunch and dinner
Caliope Steakhouse
This restaurant is not the easiest to find if you are drivng, but the food, service and ambience are great. We took visiting friends there for dinner, and we all loved It. For starters two of us had the baby spinach, and we would definitely eat it again. One of us had the duck ravioli and the other had the prawns, which were also wonderful. Of the main courses, we had short ribs, seabass risotto, octopus and yuca gnocci. Of all those, I would not order the yuca again. I like yuca, but this was just ok. We will certainly be going there again.
Market
One of our favorite restaurants in Panama City. The menu offers such a good variety from salads, hamburgers, and fish, to great steaks and ribs. Thursday and Friday are prime rib nights, but this time I was here with friends for lunch.
Tomillo (Casco Antiguo)
there were four of us and we shared four different entrees, as suggested by our server. Everything was delicious and we will certainly return. The service was prompt and friendly, the atmosphere great, not to mention great prices. We all highly recommend this restaurant
La Jirafa de María del Alma
This food is far from being Mexican, and the portions are tiny anyway. The mole, unlike the thick rich food of Mexici, was a rhin salty soup. The two tacos al pastor had enough filling for one, and they were served alone in a plastic soup bowl. The tiny portion of meat for the arrachera tacos was tough. There were 8 of us and no one was happy with their meal The wait staff was pleasant and efficient, the room is very crowded with tables and walking up/down three flights of stairs with no light or handrails is precarious
