Makoto: Fresh Sushi, Great Service, and a Stylish Atmosphere
Makoto in Panama City offers a delightful dining experience with its fresh sushi, excellent service, and stylish atmosphere. The restaurant's modern decor creates a welcoming and sophisticated ambiance, perfect for a special occasion or a casual night out.
Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or simply looking for a delicious meal, Makoto is a must-visit destination in Panama City.
From the moment I sank my teeth into the creamy, dreamy piquillo peppers stuffed with goat cheese, I knew DaFranco was a culinary destination. This appetizer was a symphony of flavors, a perfect prelude to the main event. But oh, the pasta ragu di maiale! It was an absolute revelation. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the sauce was a rich, savory masterpiece. The Panzerotti was another standout, hearty and satisfying.
To top off this unforgettable meal was the tiramisu, a light and airy cloud of deliciousness. But the true gem of DaFranco is the owner, Franco himself. His passion for food and his heartwarming stories made the experience even more special. His mother’s sauce, he said, was the secret ingredient to their incredible dishes, and I wholeheartedly believe it.
Looking forward to returning soon.
Maguro is definitely worth adding to your Panama City dining list. The high-quality food, exceptional service, and wonderful ambiance make it a 5-star experience all around. From the first bite I was hooked and this place has quickly risen to one of my top picks for restaurants in the city.
Excellent location for an affordable and delicious meal. While I would like to see more items on the menu, what they do have is consistently good. Service is always friendly but due to the small size of the location and how busy it gets, service can sometimes be a little slow, but they do work very hard and its always a pleasure coming here.
Good curb appeal and nice ambiance. Service was just ok with some service being not good and other parts where it was good. Food wasn't good at all though. Pizza sauce was more like pasta sauce and very sweet. Ceasar salad was dull and unappetizing and the carpiccio de res was just ok. The only high point was the wine but that was made in Italy so not sure if if counts or makes sense to be part of the review but I had to try hard to find something good about the place.
Chivita Food House was a very nice dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance was inviting and stylish, perfect for a special occasion or a relaxed evening out. The service by Luis was top-notch - friendly, and attentive.
The food was absolutely delicious. While I can't speak to everything they offer, the fish dish I ordered was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor.
Overall, Chivita Food House gets high marks, if you're looking for a great meal with excellent service in a lovely atmosphere, I highly recommend giving them a try.
Efimero lives up to its name (which translates to "ephemeral" in Spanish) by offering a truly fleeting culinary experience. The ambiance is modern and chic, but also warm and inviting. The staff's attentiveness further elevates the experience. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly and I was able to interact with many of them on my first visit here.
But the true star of the show is the sushi. The freshness was undeniable. Each piece melted in my mouth, a testament to the high-quality ingredients. The chefs clearly take pride in their craft. Whether you're a seasoned sushi aficionado or a curious newcomer, Efimero is a must-try.
Lovely little chic restaurant serving Italian favorites and for some reason sushi too. I suppose some folks like that but to me it makes no sense. While the fish dish Mero A Fagiolio was pretty good the Penne Alla Vodka was meh at best. They only serve two beers here; Michelob and Stella, if you are going to limit the selection maybe at least carry an Italian brand. There was only one choice for glass of wine but it was actually very good. Service was quite attentive and pleasurable but not enough to make up for the high prices and so-so pasta. As mentioned by many the ambiance inside is a feast for the eyes, unfortunately it isn't edible so take that into consideration before you dine.
Overall, Miss Cho exceeded our expectations on every level. Starting when you enter into a modern vibe with a Japanese influence that hints at what is to come. And what is to come is delicious food, and very good service; thank you david. We really enjoyed the spicy tuna roll, noodles, pizzeta, shrimp tempura, and hamachi sashimi. Every dish was fresh, creative and simply delicious. Looking forward to returning again soon.
Loaction and service are top notch. The food is also very good and worthy of a try. We were offered a ride from our hotel to the restaurant but didn't need it, still a very nice touch.
