Salvaje (Costa del Este)
This is one of the most interesting restaurants in Panama. The cuisine is Japanese. The food is excellent and very innovative. unfortunately, it it the kind of restaurant where you tend to order a number of different dishes and the resulting bill tends to get very expensive. Every half hour or so there is a brief “show” of dancing. I have been here before and will return for a special treat.
Austin Mama`s (Costa del Este)
This is a Texas barbecue restaurant located in the industrial section of Costa del Este. it’s a little hard to find but it has some on site parking. The menu is limited and no place for a vegetarian. The food was excellent and the portions large. It is not a pretentious restaurant and is very noisy with loud American music. Ihave been here before and will no doubt return when I am desirous of ribs. Although there is another branch near the canal, it is otherwise pretty unique.

The cuisine is Japanese. There is indoor and outdoor seating in a roof top garden. The serving dishes were beautiful. The food was excellent and the service very attentive. Unfortunately, the portions are small but the prices are large. I enjoyed the meal but not sure if it was worth the bill.
Hacienda Real Steak House - Mariscos
This was first time eating here. Everything was ok but nothing was particularly special. I would not make a special trip to return but would not object if a friend suggested eating there.
Souvlaki Gr
I have been here before and would not hesitate to go again. This is a small Greek restaurant. The food and service were very gpod. The portions are on the modest side but it was generally an ok experience.
The Londoner
This was my first at this restaurant and I was very pleased the food and service was very good. The is off site parking but you have to approach from Frederick bBoyd. I enjoyed my lunch and I am certain I will return
Gentile Gourmet
This restaurant has been in CDE for years but I have never dined there before. I was not particularly impressed. The menu is not particularly extensive. The food and service were ok and the prices reasonable but there was nothing special about the dinner. I don’t think I will return.
Mestizo
This review is about the Sunday brunch. One gets unlimited champagne and food. The cuisine includes almost every major type-Asian, Italian , Spanish etc. The food was excellent as was the service. it is a little pricey but reasonable when you consider the quantity and quality and unlimited glasses of champagne. I highly recommend it for a special occasion. The restaurant is located in the Santa Maria Hotel and has valet parking.
Veramar
Thisis one of the many restaurants on the water in Veracruz. It has a lovely view of the water and is in the shade but otherwise outdoors. The menu is pretty extensive with an emphasis on seafood. It(like the others here) is barebones. But the food and service was good, the portions generous. It is a nice change of pace from the normal City restaurant and ok to visit every once in a while.
Saint-Honoré (San Francisco)
There are several of these throughout the City. Yesterday I had lunch at the one in San Francisco. Fortunately they have valet parking. The omelette I had was the best one I have ever eaten. The menu is limited and the restaurant small(with indoor and outside dining). The service was fine and incredibly prompt. I will definitely return for another breakfast.
