I am staying at the Marriot and went to have dinner here. The place is busy during the breakfast buffet but not really busy during dinner time. I had the quessadilla with chicken which I do not recommend because it tasted very dry. For main course iI had the Spaghetti with Bolognese sauce and it was just ok. I would recommend thus place for having breakfast and not really for dinner..
I tried this restaurant when it was still very new. It is a small place with maybe 6 tables and with simple decor. The owner explained their menu and recommended the Arepa La Pelua which was with shredded beef and yellow cheese. The beef was a little bit stringy and hard to chew but the arepa was very filling. It also came with a taqueno which I liked very much.
This place was recommended by a colleague as we wanted to a special place to celebrate something. We made reservations and as we were a big group, we decided to pre order our main courses before going to the restaurant . We also ordered some appetizers like the yuka fritters, carpaccio and tuna. Service was a bit slow because they only had 1 waiter for the main dining area . For main course, I ordered the rib eye and it was very good. The place has a very intimate feel but also good for large groups . They had someone playing the guitar and it added to the nice ambiance.
Was intrigued by the concept so I brought some visitors for dinner . They offer 2 menus - a regular one and one that offers the favorite dishes of some famous people. The menu is difficult to read as the letters are very small and the light in the mezzanine level is a bit dim . We started with assorted tapas which was ok but not really wow. For main course i decided to try the milanesa bechamel which again was ok but was not so impressed.
Went on a Saturday for dinner. Place was still empty . As soon as you seat down the waiter brings in several bowls of different appetizers with different tastes and textures. Of course the kimchi is a must in a Korean meal. I order the The korean noodle dish Japchae which was a good dish and I also tried the fried chicken which I did not like so much because the sauce was a bit too overpowering.
I jad high expectations after reading about this restaurant but was sadly disappointed. Service can definitely be improved. It took about 5 minutes for the wait staff to acknowledge me or give me a menu after I seated myself in the veranda. The owner came out and was friendly enough but the wait staff should be trained about customer service as well. I ordered the pasta with salmon and the pasta was too firm and not al dente.
Had dinner at about 7 pm on a Saturday and the place was still empty. It is a big space with banquet seating along one wall and smaller tables in the middle of the room. There is a big bar area and they have 2 projectors showing films about food one one big wall above the dining space. Menu is thick and had a mix of Asian inspired dishes being offered. Service is ok and friendly but I felt a bit uncomfortable since the wait staff were just standing around the room waiting for customers. For appetizer, I ordered the Wang Pao Chicken taquitos. The wang pao was ok but the wrapper was a bit over done and was hard to the bite. The main course , which was the mongolian beef arrived as I was still finishing my appetizer and as a result turned cold before I could eat it. They should wait for their guest to finish the appetizer before they bring out the main course. Another that bothered me was that one wait staff took a chair from my table to bring to another table without excusing himself .food is ok but service should be improved.
I wanted my guests to have a different experience and decided to take them to this restaurant. I have been here before and i knew they would enjoy the food and the ambiance. As we were a big group we decided to just order the menu degustacion so everyone can have a taste of everything. The service is good and the food is ok.
I had some visitors and made a reservation. When we arrived they placed us in a semi private area which was great but a little but cramped. We started with some ceviche which my guests enjoyed. For main course I had the milanesa which was good and a good - sized portion and was not able to finish everything.
Wanted to have a quick dinner and this place was convenient because it was close to my place and a supermarket. Place inside is small with small tables and counter seating. They do have seats outside. I tried the chicken donburi and it was not bad but no that good either. The chicken was ok but the rice was too firm to the bite .
