I am still enjoying our delightful visit. We went for an early "happy hour" before the weekend hit during soccer-mania (our own make-shift happy-hour event as Panama hasn't caught on to this menu-concept) and we stayed for dinner. The service was incredibly attentive and proactive (can this be true in Panama?). Our bottle of Pinot Noir was excellent and a great pairing with our appetizers and two main courses, divided as small plate-tapas. The steak was perfectly medium-rare, tender, and flavourful. Everything came out delicately at temperature. They can make a great espresso, too! Tell me, this was not a fluke! We will return!

I would like to give this restaurant a second try as soon as I forget the overcoaked prawns and salty paella. Everything had detail - which makes a case for the kitchen not having its game on on our visit - from the moment we walked in early afternoon on a Saturday. The service was attentive and cordial. The place automatically gives a cool, comfortable feeling. At first, we were a little taken aback when certain dishes from a well-rounded menu were depleted (at 1pm on a Saturday?) but the knowledgeable staff helped us through choices. I just wished the chef had tasted the dishes before sending them out so proudly.

The first impression is that the restaurant has the ambiance of a trendy metropolitan city (such as east or west coast US). The menu, however, does not match the intent. Limited and unconnected. Additionally, portions were extremely small for the price. We might try again when it refines up a little more and the restaurant's theme gains congruency.

To date, the restaurant is about a year old and the food hasn't shown the refinement of basic dishes (such as pasta dishes) and service it proposes (managers are more like PR folks than attending to the restaurant). Place looks inviting as are other locales in Casco.
