Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Panama. Every thing from start to finish was just superb. We ordered the bruschetta to start which has perfectly grilled tomatoes that brought out its sweetness paired with a salty jamón serrano and crunchy baguette. the. we ordered a pizza which was served to us with an amazing chili oil. Third, the best seafood fresh linguini… I cannot explain just how amazing this dish was. And lastly the perfect pair of desertes to end the meal. Great food and amazing service. We will definitely be back!

Amazing service, we didn’t feel rushed despite circumstances. Excellent quality and taste of dishes. Our favorites were the almejas in lemongrass sauce and coconut pulpo.

Great place to grab some drinks after work. We received great service from Jeff! My favorite dish was the fried siumai.

We were really keen on trying this restaurant. We went there on Father’s Day. Service was really slow - there was a shortage of workers which should have been taken into consideration if you’re keeping the restaurant open on a festive day and if you’re offering a discount. There were a lot of things missing on the menu (they had even run out of coke). It was probably because they are a new restaurant and perhaps did not know what to expect. Food was nothing out of the ordinary and was reasonably priced otherwise.

I really loved how the restaurant looked. The ambiance and general vibe was very welcome and relaxing. Service was really good, we did not feel rushed at all. Food was served in a timely manner. I absolutely loved the tzatziki. The only thing that was just alright was the egg dish and the Cordero which was a little tough. Everything else was spectacular. Will definitely return!

Makoto is a true gem in Panama. During this visit we had a few mishaps: first the wagyu sticks were over cooked. Second, the waiter misheard our order and brought a second dish that we didn’t order... he kept claiming that he heard 2 when we only ordered 1. And lastly, we had an issue with the chicken dumplings with trufa. We ordered them and asked if it came with trufa, the waiter confirmed and brought shaved trufa without letting us know that there’s an extra charge for it. When the bill came we were shocked to see $30 just for trufa, when we questioned it... they claimed we ordered it aside when we had only asked if it came with it. While the waiter did remove this charge, it reminded me that whichever restaurant we visit.. we have to always be vigilant in checking the bill twice!

Segundo Muelle has been around for quite some time now not only because of the quality of food they serve but because of their excellent service. It’s one of the very few places in Panama where I truly feel that a customer is treated well and given importance. Regards to the food we ordered, while most of the dishes were very good (most especially the Cordero) there were 2 dishes that was a little salty - the ceviche and the causa de pollo. Else, the rest made for a truly enjoyable evening.

I really liked the chicken satay and the tom kha soup. The spice level was just perfect. However, the other dishes were a miss for me. The drunken noodles were clumpy, the wontons had way too much cream cheese, the curries lacked flavor and spice. The service also was subpar given that the restaurant was empty. We had a slight issue with the bill and the manager did not bother to try to understand our point.

Hands down the best burgers in Panama! Fresh and simple - from the bun to the patty. Everything is perfect and well balanced. Servings are a good size and price is on point. Just wish they accepted card payment!

We ordered in from this restaurant, and while I loved my dish (chicken burrito) my h stand was not very happy with his veg tacos. They sent a good variety of additional sauces and toppings which was great. Their guacamole was just subpar and the mexican corn was not as great as I expected it to be. I would return for the burritos though.
