An Italian restaurant with a botanical garden theme. Very well designed. The service was okay. They erroneously gave a beef dish for our table to my uncle who does not eat beef. It was a busy night for the restaurant so I would presume thats was why there was a confusion. The empanaditas de osobuco and the buffalo chicken pizza were my favorites. Both flavorful and worth a try.
A line to wait outside for a burger for upto 4 hrs then wait another hour for the burger intrigued us. Luckily at the time we got there the line was not scary so we got in fairly quick. The burger that won everyone's hearts finally got to me after an hour. Was it worth the hype? Perhaps. Was it the best of all burgers in burger week? Not quite. Worth a taste? Most definitely.
We heard about this restaurant through social media and word of mouth. The decor gave me a vibe of Japan. Though crowded, we still managed to receive decent service. I enjoyed the salmon croquetas. Highly recommend it. The tortilla egg with cebollina however lacked salt. The encuentro frito could have used some sort of a side sauce to dip. The kimchi was just right. Yakitori de puerco is the right way to go. The rice with the minced meat was full of flavor and perhaps my favorite dish of the night. I also enjoyed both desserts that we ordered. Interesting dining experience.
The best dumplings in town can be found here. In a small hole in the wall dumplings restaurant. The combo of kimchi with both dumplings and their hojaldra de cebollina is exuisite. Food comes out piping hot and quick.
Only cons for this place are the sodas not being cold and when I asked for a glass with ice for my soda, the waiter said theres no glasses for soda. But literally 5 minutes later a table asks for glasses of water and they received glasses of water and that also with ice.
Rich and creamy italian ice cream made in-house and a decent size list of flavors to choose from. This is a must try for dessert. They even have other cakes and pastries made in-house. Leave the gun, take the cannoli.
Be sure to bring your appetite with you when you dine at this restaurant. Tons of fine and dandy indian dishes to choose from. Recommendations: start off with dahi puri and samosa chaat. Then for main course, the butter chicken and shahi paneer which should be had with garlic naan. These are some rich and creamy dishes. So if you are dieting, you may want to wait till the diet is over unless its your cheat day.
Food is tasty and decor is nice. The service is however quite slow. Took them 1.5 hrs to bring out our food. Seems like they could use additional manpower in the kitchen to help handle the workload. The Bim bim bap and spicy bbq pork were delicious. While waiting, we had several plates of cabbage kimchi. That helped sooth the hunger while we waited.
If youre looking for gringo style chinese food, this is the closest to it you will find in Panama. Big portions, lots of fried treats and very nice decor. Worth a visit.
Even though we had to wait to be seated 20-25 mins. It was definitely worth it. The service during the lunch hour rush was quick and efficient. Waitress was very attentive. We had bento boxes of korean beef, a rainbow roll and a traditional ramen soup on the table. All of it was a success. Excellent concept.
