Perú Chicken (Costa del Este)
Perú Chicken in Costa del Este is a beautiful restaurant. The decoration and layout is really well thought out. The food is also great. The appetizer of Causa Chevichada was exactly what my Peruvian wife wanted and recieved. The Fish was fresh and the causa base was on point. The chaufa al aeropuerto was also excellent. Comfort food. The pollo a la brasa is spectacular! The value is there and we look forward to going back.
Bruma
Bruma is a delight. Perfect location in Casco. Ideal to go in Uber since it is right at the entrance of Casco. My wife and I went for an early Sunday dinner and loved the place. The dining room is beautifully laid out and the device was sensational. The stand outs for us was the fresh amberjack Ceviche, Spicy Tuna Tartare, along with the classic Fish and Chips. All were great. The only thing that could have been better was the flan de café. In my humble opinion it needed to be thicker, creamier texture, and more caramel sauce to moisten the dense flan. But that will not deter us from going back.
CATCH Seafood & Grill
The Fish sandwich is still great. Worth going only for that. The coleslaw is also very good. Prepared fresh upon ordering.
Pizza Verace
Be prepared to wait for a table. But the pizzas are worth it. Go for the pizza. The Margherita Pom D'oro was fantastic as well as the 4 stagione. The service is a bit rushed, tight, and the dining room is very loud.
Los Años Locos (San Francisco)
We arrived earlier than the reservation, but was attended to very nicely. Started off with the salad bar and some chorizos. Then the main course of the Filete Mark for my wife and I and the Filete a la pimienta for my friend. The steak was tender and tasty. The roasted veggies on top were also very good. There is no way you can have a bad meal at Los Años Locos.
Arrogante
Arrogante was an immense and pleasant surprise. My wife and I went there on the spur of the moment. There is plenty of onsite parking, and valet parking is also available. The restaurant is one of the most beautifully decorated places I’ve ever been to—every detail is spectacular. The indoor dining area is quite comfortable, and the acoustics have been thoughtfully designed. The balance of echo, noise, and music created an ideal atmosphere for an enjoyable dining experience. The outdoor dining terrace is also lovely, though a bit warm for my taste. We had the good fortune of being served by a gentleman named Chris, who made our dinner even more pleasant. The primis were pappardelle al pomodoro and a salad, both of which arrived at our table without much delay. The pappardelle al pomodoro was fantastic. My main dish, beef tenderloin with pepper sauce, was expertly cooked and beautifully plated. For dessert, we enjoyed panna cotta and Nutella-filled pizza crusts—both were the perfect way to end the meal. We are already looking forward to going back.
Pizza Verace
Pizza Verace recently moved to a bigger and nicer local. Cleaner and less hot in the dining room. They sacrificed the outdoors terrace dining area for the nicer local. The hours of operation are still inconvenient in that they don't open till 6:00pm. No possibility of a late lunch of their delicious pizza. But, they obviously don't need to add hours. We arrived a little after 6:00pm on a Friday night with only two separate couples dining already there. Within 10 minutes there wasn't a table available and the line was forming outside. My wife and I ordered a salad, a 4 formaggi pizza and a Margherita di bufala. The Salad was overpriced, small, and lacked any real appeal. THE Pizzas were great. No doubt this is the premier pizza place For authentic Roman ultra thin crust pizza. To end the meal on a sweet note, we shared the Nutella pizza. Also was sensational. I highly recommend pizza Verace. But be prepared to wait.
Os Segredos Da Carne
The lunch menu ejecutivo that is offered Monday through Friday is a fantastic value. The salad bar alone is worth the cost. The meats are good, but are quite limited. The cuts available have good taste but are far from tender. The value is there, just go in knowing it's not a premium protein experience.
Perú Chicken (Obarrio)
Perú chicken recently expanded and is much more comfortable than before. The food is as good as always. The Ceviche de pescado was Fresh and plated beautifully. The causa d pollo was confort Food, and the pollo asado is exactly what is expected. Fantastic.
Pizza Verace
Amazing pizzas. So much variety and the quality of the ingredients is top notch. The pies are perfect. This time I had the Margherita withs stracciatella and my wife a pizza with mushrooms and ham. Both were spectacular.
