During our recent visit to Boquete, we visited Sugar & Spice. Truly a wonderful place, very close to the downtown area. It seemed that initially they were a bakery and then expanded to serve breakfast and lunch. The portions are very generous, think about sharing, and the service attentive. They change their bread offer daily and we took a delicious multigrain loaf and some muffins back to our hotel room. Recommended.

If you like to escape for a cold beer, this is the place to meet friends, make new ones or to spend time by yourself. Casual is the modus operandi, a large choice of cold beers and other drinks. The chicken wings are good and they offer a number of buffet options and special. We also opted for pizza and it was delicious. We recommend that you sit outside, next to the river.

What a complete surprise at the end of the road, literally. We visited Fort San Lorenzo and on the way back we decided to explore Shelter Bay Marina. We found, after passing a road that needs some repairs, a beautiful Marina with a great restaurant. We opted to sit inside and enjoyed Octopus, the local fried fish special and for dessert we shared the coconut custard. Did I mentioned the sangria and ice cold beer? We will be back...
